It's a very convenient thing to have when traveling. Just be careful not to put heavy bottles on the platform. This is how I broke my first one. The suction cup came loose and fell on the shower floor. The actual mirror did not break, just the razor holder/platform. I prefer the more deluxe mirrors for my home, like with a larger mirror, light, clock, and radio etc. But for traveling its ok, just don't overweight it.
